Funny Face

There are moments with this little cutie that make all the crying, diapers, and erratic sleep absolutely worth it. For example, last week she decided to start smiling. Nothing is going to melt your heart faster than a little baby smiling at you. Here are a few other moments:

At the family reunion awhile ago, I had put Addie down on the bed for a minute while I went to the bathroom to get something. She was wide awake when I left, and I came back to this:

Another moment was last week when I was trying to do “Tummy Time” with her. (Since babies sleep on their backs, they need time on their tummies to practice strengthening their necks.) I was told to lay her in my Boppy pillow and let her work on it until she got upset. I laid her in there (again, wide awake), and watched her struggle for a minute. Then…

She just kills me. (Yep, Addie and Uncle Mikie…narcileptics.)

Next time…preparing Addie for her destiny in the great outdoors.

  1. Hahaha, so adorable. You know, I think this narcolepsy thing is contagious. Dan’s been giving me a run for my money lately. And I saw Dwane pass out at his computer for a couple minutes today. Everyone’s so tired!

  5. Hi Marianne,

I just found your blog and I had to tell you how BEAUTIFUL your little girl is. I love the idea of taking pictures of your child with a stuffed animal. The third picture is adorable. My son would just love a big stuffed Snoopy.
